Why I Built Cabin Cruiser

I’m like you—I cruise. But if there’s one part of planning that always drove me nuts, it was cabin selection.

I’d spend hours digging through deck plans, trying to find that one cabin that fit just right. Sometimes I’d get so frustrated that I wouldn’t even book the cruise—I’d wait a week hoping the cabin I wanted would become available. Sound familiar?

I’ve walked some of the ships. Spent hundreds of days at sea. And somewhere between the deck maps, elevator shafts, and obstructed views—I realized something had to change.

So, I set out to solve this problem—not just for me, but for every cruiser who’s ever been stuck zooming into blurry deck maps at midnight.

I manually mapped out over 280,000 cabins across hundreds of ships. I gave each one over 40 distinct characteristics—location, layout, amenities, even noise sensitivity zones—I built the Cabin Cruiser algorithm so that you could finally stop guessing and start booking with confidence.
